Nikola Vucevic had a triple-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the Chicago bulls to a 121-99 victory.

Coby White and Zach Lavine each scored 25 points as the Bulls won back-to-back games and remain 3.0 games behind the Washington Wizards for the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference. With the loss, the Celtics fall out of a tie for the sixth spot, as the Heat took home a win tonight over the Timberwolves.

Kemba Walker paced the Celtics with a season-high 33 points. All-Star Jayson Tatum scored just 9nine points on 3-15 shooting, including 0-7 from three-point range. Boston was without Jaylen Brown (ankle) and Robert Williams III (turf toe). Evan Fournier scored 17 points, but only three of his points came after the first quarter. Marcus smart had just four points on 2-7 shooting in 32 minutes of work.

The Bulls won a very competitive first quarter at 30-28 despite fournier’s hot start. Chicago then took command in the second, outscoring Boston 30-18 to lead 60-46 at the half.

Coby white made four three-pointers and Patrick Williams hit another as the Bulls, who made 18 of 40 three-point field goals for the game, showed great ball movement/ They also took the season series 2-1 against the Celtics with the win. Boston was struggling from the three-point line making just 11 of 39 attempts.

This loss comes at a crucial point in the season as the C’s are battling for playoff position. They play the Heat twice in a row starting on Sunday, both of which should be considered “must-win” games. Their game on Sunday will tip off at 1:00 p.m. (EST) on ESPN.
