The C’s snapped a four-game skid by blowing out the Timberwolves yesterday, 123-108. Despite a lengthy injury report, Jayson Tatum stepped up to the challenge.

Tatum scored 26 points in the win vs Minnesota, leading all scorers. He also added 11 rebounds and two assists to his stat sheet. Tatum shot 8-21 from the field and 4-11 from deep.

While most of his teammates decided to rest, Tatum wanted to get in a better rhythm ahead of the play-in game. With help from Tremont Waters and Luke Kornet, he led the C’s to their first win in over a week.

Boston plays again today vs the New York Knicks at 1:00 p.m. (EST). Tatum joins six other players on the injury report for the game. The Celtics will play the winner of the Hornets-Wizards game today in the first round of the play-in on Tuesday.
