Jaylen Brown’s Offense Can’t Carry the Load vs Bucks

Boston lost a heartbreaker to Milwaukee last night, but the energy was there. For a team that has struggled to compete in clutch situations, they did a pretty good job of doing so last night. While Kemba Walker had a hot stretch late, Jaylen Brown led the charge throughout the whole game. His consistency is what helped him earn player of the game.

Brown’s first quarter was arguable the highlight of the game for him. He made his first three shots and was the only Celtic to score in the game's first two minutes. Brown had a super-efficient night shooting the ball as well. He shot 10-16 from the field and 4-7 from deep. His three-ball was a huge factor in keeping the Celtics in the ball game. On top of his elite shooting, Brown added 10 rebounds and two assists to the game.

Although Theis’ final shot didn’t fall, it was still a solid game for the Celtics. It showed that they can still compete with top-tier teams in the Eastern Conference. Boston will have a chance to right the ship against the Bucks on Friday when they play them for the second time in a row. That game tips off at 7:30 PM EST on ESPN and NBC Sports Boston.
