The Celtics have traded for Orlando Magic swingman Evan Fournier. Boston gives up two second-round picks in the deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Fournier is the second Magic player to be moved today, with Nikola Vucevic leaving for Chicago less than an hour before this trade took place. The Celtics have been in talks with the Magic since earlier in the week about multiple deals. According to Keith Smith, this deal does not take Boston out of the running for Magic forward Aaron Gordon. They have been trying to pry Gordon from Orlando for years.

Fournier gives the Celtics some much-needed shooting. The wing is averaging 19.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on the year. He’s also shooting 46.1% from the field and 28.9% from deep on 7.2 three-point attempts per game. This should give the Celtics a major boost off the bench, or in the starting lineup.
