Unfortunately, the Celtics were unable to hold on to beat the Nets. By the time the second half rolled around, Kevin Durant decided to become unstoppable and the Celtics crumbled. Regardless, you guys still voted for the player of the game for the C’s, and that was once again Jaylen Brown.

Brown ended up posting a stat-line of 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists on the night. This follows an incredible 33 point performance from opening night, proving once again that Brown is an All-Star caliber player. With the likes of Jayson Tatum and Jeff Teague struggling to get things going, Brown remained consistent. He did get off to a bit of a rocky start, but once he settled down he was back in the zone. The mid-range game has really opened up for him this season, and the great decision making is something the Celtics desperately need to calm their offense.

This is Brown’s second player of the game award (as voted by you guys) of the season, and he’ll look to make it three when the Celtics take on the Pacers tomorrow, December 27 at 8:00 PM EST. Make sure to vote on the poll after the game!
