Jaylen Brown Won’t Back Down, Leads Celtics to 101-99 Victory Over Knicks
The Celtics were able to take home a gritty win against the Knicks last night, 101-99. They played with an aggressive mindset that matched the physical tone that New York plays with. Jaylen Brown spearheaded this effort and led the way for Boston.
Brown scored a game-high 32 points for the Celtics. He also added 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block to the mix. This was the first 30-point, 10-rebound game of Brown’s career.
The first-time All-Star had was extremely aggressive all night long. He continuously drove to the basket while also draining threes. He shot 12-26 from the field and 5-13 from deep.
In the game vs. Philadelphia, Brown only took 10 shots. It was clear he wanted more in this one and it worked out for the better. The Celtics’ game will be against the Minnesota Timberwolves this Friday at 7:30 PM EST on NBC Sports Boston.
