Jaylen Brown Finds a Rhythm Late, Can’t Lead Celtics Past Surging Sixers

The Celtics posted another one in the loss column last night against the Philadelphia 76ers. Down early, it seemed that the team couldn’t really get into a rhythm to overturn the deficit.

Finishing the game with a score of 96-106 in a Celtics loss, there were few standout moments in this game. Jaylen Brown showed some fight as the team lacked energy down the stretch. He is your player of the game.

In the lackluster team performance, Brown seemed to give the C’s a bit of a spark early and continued to be productive late in the game. Posting 17 points, three rebounds, and a block, the first-year All-Star would fight to the finish. Although the outcome was not what was hoped for, Brown’s efforts did not go unnoticed.

Getting closer and closer to the postseason, the Celtics will have to find a formula to at least keep them in the playoff picture at this point. Hopefully, as more of the roster is becoming healthy, rotations will become concrete and roles will get solidified.

The Celtics will look to rebound tonight against the New York Knicks. Tip-off will be at 7:30 PM EST on NBC Sports Boston.
